SUNBURN SITUATIONS

swimsuit vintage/thrifted | shoes thrifted

This is probably the most makeup I've worn in my life. I should've used blush since it makes everything look sunburnt anyway but I don't own any other than my chrome one. It's a mixture of eyeshadow and lotion (sunscreen, ironically) applied with a medium sized paintbrush, plus some evening out and touching up in Photoshop. The skin peeking through my scalp on my part and around my hair were colored in Photoshop, as well as the skin showing through the mesh part of the bathing suit. Everything else was nearly stained on. It took forever, but looks somewhat realistic. I haven't been sunburnt in a long time, except for on my scalp, so I had fun going through ones online and was most inspired by Kim Kardashian's sunburn.

Concept-wise, I wanted to show the marks that can be left behind after being sunburnt and maybe how they look while wearing other stuff. I was going to do one look with full shots but I had a few ideas so I split it up into different scenarios: sunglasses, a tank top, bikini bottoms, capris or a dress, flip flops, a ring, and a bracelet. I think the feet and legs turned out the coolest. I could've created more complex shapes and lines, but I kept it simple.
