For the past two or so months, I tried growing out my unibrow for a shoot. I could easily edit the hairs out in other photos until then. It didn't end up that cool looking and there were probably only slightly over a dozen hairs, so I thought makeup could give me a fuller look and I could use the hair I did grow as a guideline. The combination turned out better and more realistic looking than I thought. I used the same products for my eyebrows (Hourglass Mineral Veil, NARS eyeshadow in Coconut Grove, Coastal Scents Hot Pot in Brownstone) with some light filling in and small hairlike strokes with one of my nail art brushes. I wish my unibrow could've grown out as fiercely, I would keep it for a while. No joke.
It was really fun shooting this. I'm obsessed with wearing that damn $4.50 leather jacket. This time I tried a Margiela or Viktor & Rolf inspired kind of look and played with the proportions. The last look with the furs was a few hours after I originally shot and I wanted to take more. It looks like a fur hoodie but it's a combination of a coat and scarf for a fur ball monster-ish look. I like how the scarf looks merged to my hair.
