CRYSTAL EYES

A look inspired by Prada, Miu Miu, the film Christiane F., and the makeup at Vivienne Westwood Spring 2012 RTW and Yohji Yamamoto Fall 2012 RTW. I'm wearing one of my only garments with faux fur, an old Morbid Threads jacket that I've had since I was 9 or 10. It was one of my favorite jackets and I used to wear it all the damn time, so much I'm surprised it looks as good as it does.

For my eyes, I wanted to recreate colors the body can make from bruising, being tired, etc. and I added crystals for extra flair. The lipstick, a discontinued Morgana Cryptoria shade, looks pretty good here. It's actually kind of sucky and this is the first time I've used it since I reviewed it forever ago. It's only good for a short amount of wear and with a little help from Photoshop. I also tried using blush near my cheeks and temples, but it made me look a little sunburnt. I guess that can be cute sometimes, just not feeling it here.

    1. It's a really lovely shade, I'm happy it photographed as well as it did! They were on sale at a craft store.
