FUR, FAUX FINGER WAVES, AND A FRENCH MANI

leather and fur coat, cashmere sweater, polyurethane pants, white fur coat, fur collar all off brand/thrifted | bullet necklace thrifted/handmade

I'm alive! I had the worst cold I've had in years and I'm still slowly recovering from it. Yesterday I was finally able to shoot something, although nothing too major since I'm constantly blowing my nose and that means I can't even wear fun lipstick without wiping it off in the process. I focused on eyes, hair, and nails instead.

Yeah, I finally did something different to my hair! It's inspired by the hair at Yohji Yamamoto Spring 2003 RTW and Prada Spring 2011 RTW. It took forever to do because I suck at doing hair. To do it, I pretty much made quick, slick finger waves just with a section on the front part of my head and without the wave texture. I used a ton of gel and hairspray, which is totally not good for my hair but I guess it's okay for one time.

I had a sudden urge to give myself a french manicure because I thought it'd look ridiculous and funny with the length of my nails. I genuinely like the look for some reason. I did a decent job since I haven't tried it many times before, although I should've bought a different base color since the one I bought was too opaque. My natural nails are slightly stained a different tone, which isn't too visible here because the photos are in black and white. I ended up keeping everything clear except for the tips.

For my eyes, I cut up a few false eyelashes and glued them to my lower lash line. I think I should buy more false eyelashes to play with. I've actually grown to like them more recently! I should make more out of horsehair, too.
